Pathways to the Implementation of Social Educational Functions in Macao's Music Associations: A Qualitative Analysis Based on In-Depth Interviews

Abstract

Macao music associations play a key role in social education, not only teaching musical skills, but also promoting cultural heritage, personality building, social responsibility and international exchanges. This study focuses on four representative societies, discusses how they realize the social education function, and their impact on the music culture ecology of Macao. The research summarizes four realization paths: the construction of diversified music education system, the integration of cultural inheritance and music education, the cultivation of team cooperation and social responsibility, the expansion of international vision, and the combination of music education and economic and cultural development. These paths will help the students develop in an all-round way and support Macao's cultural development and music education system.
