These reports should follow a specific format, including the content reproduced, methods, data, measurements, results, and conclusions. Detailed requirements can be referenced from related articles.

Review

Reviews are authoritative, balanced, and scholarly surveys of recent developments within a research field. They may include bibliometric analyses and meta-analyses. Authors can present appropriate viewpoints but must maintain balance and objectivity, especially when addressing controversies. Reviews should encompass the majority of research in the field, avoiding bias towards specific schools of thought or the authors' own work.

They should engage a broad readership with accessible, non-technical language. Note that Comments do not directly address articles published in Synergy; for such responses, use the Correspondence submission type.

News & Views

News & Views articles introduce readers to the latest advancements in behavioral research, such as recent publications or reports from scientific conferences. These pieces may relate to articles published in Synergy or focus on significant developments elsewhere. While typically invitation-only, unsolicited submissions are also considered.
