Call for Editorial Board Members

Join Our Editorial Team to Shape the Future of Social Change Research

We are excited to invite distinguished scholars and researchers from a wide range of disciplines to join the Editorial Board of Synergy, a leading open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring how synergetic changes in technology, globalization, and social structures impact both individual and collective experiences in the modern world. We encourage applications from experts whose research intersects with one or more of the following areas:

• Interdisciplinary approaches intersecting psychology, anthropology, political science, history, economics, and technology studies
• Social change driven by technological advancements
• Cultural and societal dynamics in the digital era
• Policy analysis and development in response to technological innovation
• Comparative analysis of social systems influenced by technology integration
• Ethical considerations surrounding emerging technologies in social contexts
• Digitalization’s impact on social behaviors and institutions
• Health policy and services in the age of technology and AI

Synergy is committed to the principles of Open Science. We believe that article acceptance should be based primarily on scientific validity, rather than subjective interests or perceived research significance. We encourage data openness and reproducibility as essential standards. We also advocate for the pre-registration of studies and the publication of replication research to further the goals of Open Science. Editorial Board Member Requirements

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• At least 10 peer-reviewed articles published in recognized English-language journals.
• A strong record as a corresponding author (or first author) in the last 5 years.
• Expertise in one or more of the research areas outlined above.
• A commitment to supporting and representing the values, scope, and editorial policies of Synergy.  

Editorial Board Member Responsibilities

As an Editorial Board Member, your responsibilities may include:

• Evaluating manuscript suitability for peer review.
• Selecting appropriate reviewers based on the journal's requirements.
• Providing recommendations based on peer reviewers' reports and your own evaluations.
• Adhering to Synergy's editorial policies.

Benefits

Editorial Board members are eligible for up to 100% discounts on article processing fees for their submissions, with a limit of two uses per year.
